Fox recently published an article about Orangetheory Fitness with an attention-grabbing headline: “Why this exercise’s ‘afterburn’ effect may be the key to lasting weight loss.” This is an appealing benefit to say the least—especially to those of us who have started burning for the summer.

The piece details the astounding transformation of Tiana Borges, who has lost 42 pounds and gone from a size 10 to 0 in the past two years since starting Orangetheory. (She says she’s now on her way to a six-pack!) It mentions Colleen Trip, who lost interest in gym after gym until finally discovering Orangetheory Fitness and seeing real results on the scale. The article even explains the science-backed components of the workout and factors that lead to results:
